SHYAC is giving young comedians the opportunity to perform on-stage at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival - all you have to do is win some local heats in Wollongong. And how hard can that be, right? I mean, its Wollongong. Sure, they have beautiful beaches and a pretty swanky mall but they aren't funny down there, are they? At least, they aren't as funny as us!

The road to Melbourne is this:
 - Join one of SHYAC's comedy workshops on March 19;
 - Perform for a live audience in Bowral on April 1st (yes, April Fool's Day);
 - Win your way through the Wollongong Heat on May 19;
 - Be awesome in Melbourne.

If you want to show Wollongong what you've got, all you have to do is sign up for one of our comedy workshops and follow our lead. The workshops will be hosted by a professional comedian at an as-yet-undecided venue. What have you got to lose? Nothing. So do it...

IMPORTANT: The workshops are open to all High School Students, but only years 9-12 can participate in the Class Clowns Competition.
