Daffodils for Mary
- Glebe Park Garden Planting
Come along to Glebe Park on Sunday 6th May 2012 and help us create a colourful daffodil garden in honour of the Birthplace of Mary Poppins.
On the anniversary of the amazing "Welcome Home Mary Poppins" Guinness World Records on 7 May 2011, we invite the community to return and help us raise the final round of funds for the life-size bronze statue. Hopefully on the occasion of the next anniversary we might see the statue unveiled!
Bring the family and buy a bag of daffodil bulbs to plant as part of the celebration of the world record anniversary and check out the recent park landscaping done by Wingecarribee Council.
Register your interest here. Entry on the day is free and enjoy another special day in Bowral with the help of a bit of magic (and weather-watching) from Mary Poppins.
Can't make it that day...? You can still be part of it!
If you can't be at Glebe Park on 6th May, or perhaps you live elsewhere in Australia or overseas but want to support the project, then you can use the PayPal link below to donate funds for your daffodil bulbs online ($1 per bulb). Either we can plant them for you or you can nominate someone you know who can be at Glebe Park on 6th May to plant them for you.
Use the secure PayPal link below to purchase bulbs either by PayPal or by credit card (VISA/MC).
Please consider a minimum donation of $10 but more will be most welcome!
Thanks for you support!
