Produce a Show

SHYAC has an open and transparent method of choosing new productions and production teams. Each team should tender for a show up to three months before it is due to audition. To tender, you must initially complete the form below, and then  present to the SHYAC committee.

There are three shows open for application each year - the mixed musical; the  senior show; the junior show.

Show information
  • Junior Production - June each year. This show can be a musical or another type of play. The cast will be aged between 8 and 15 inclusive. Past shows include Olivia and What a Knight.
  • Senior Production - September each year. This show can be a musical or another type of play. The cast will be aged between 14 and 25. Past shows include Grease.
  • Mixed Musical - January each year. This show should be a musical, a pantomime or a family show. The cast will be aged between 8 and 25.
  • Other - SHYAC is open to ideas. Please let us know what you are proposing by using the form below.
